The live session (before you install) uses a fixed demo account:

Once installed, the account is whatever you set on the installer’s Users page - your own username and password, plus a separate administrator (root) password. There is no fixed default account on an installed system.
Older releases stay available. Pick one and we’ll ask for your email the same way.
